to use. Stock is the PFR5B-11B. #6 is the cooler version. The other very important factor is the spark gap. In order to maintain combustion, you HAVE to gap them to 0.035" to prevent misfire. Although misfire isn't damaging to the engine, it will result in a huge loss of power. The ZFR7B-11 is the copper plug, of which I have spoke with several customers who are using them and they are reporting very noticeable differences in performance. At only $2 a piece, I think I will give them a shot and if they are really all that, I'll probably order a case of them... The only drawback with them is that you have to replace them every 3K miles or so. Copper is a soft metal and it erodes much faster than platinum so you gotta change them frequently. To be honest, I'd really rather pull the plugs every oil change anyway... It will give you a really good idea if there is anything you may need to address. A compression test at the same time would also be quick and easy... Hmmm.. Looks like I need to razz my machinist about the new balance tube that wont require removal to pull the plugs..
